Claudia Hleap comes highly recommended! After doing a really restrictive diet during the first part of the quarantine where I lost 20lbs, I started to plateau. Claudia put me on a new diet focused on an appropriate distribution of protein, carbs, and vegetables and portion control. She even gave me a list of snack ideas that combined the appropriate amount of proteins and carbs to leave me satiated in between meals. I’m pleased to report that I am happier, more full, satisfied with the variety of what I can eat, and already down 5 more pounds! While, the weight is not coming off as quickly as my super-restrictive fad diet, I can pretty much eat what I want as long as its in the right proportion and companies with fresh nutritious options. I can see how this will be a sustainable life style change, that will keep my weight from continuing to yo-yo.

Claudia is the easiest person to talk to regarding diet and nutrition. I had a hard time with diet and weight my whole life; which resulted in me having an eating disorder. I felt that was the only way to control the issue. Claudia helped me find a diet that helped with my nutrient deficiencies and overall helped me come back and maintain a safe weight for my height and age. Not once did Claudia make me feel judged throughout the whole process. Additionally, she helped me find foods that worked for me and my everyday routine. I am not a big cook, which can deviate most people from getting onto a healthy eating routine, but Claudia gave me fast easy recipes to make and on the go foods to eat.

Hey everyone! My name is Claudia Hleap and I am a Registered Dietitian running a private practice in Philadelphia, PA. I see clients via in-person and virtual consultations for diabetes education and both weight and disease management. My role as a Registered Dietitian is to translate nutrition science into meaningful and realistic solutions for clients. Clients are provided with the knowledge and ability to take action and control over their health, wellness, and disease states.
