Claudia was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions about my diet / nutrition (as I was trying to incorporate more vegetarian focused eating habits) and helping me come up with an action plan to address my concerns! Claudia Hleap was a huge help to me in managing my prediabetes diagnosis. Before my appointment with her I was not very knowledgeable on how my diet affected by A1C levels or how best to change it. When I met with her she helped me create a new diet to effectively reduce my A1C levels and provided great advice on how to make my new diet a permanent lifestyle change rather than something that I could only stick with for a few weeks. After meeting with Claudia I was able to use her guidance and diet plan to significantly reduce my A1C to near normal levels, and am well on my way to no longer being prediabetic.

Hey everyone! My name is Claudia Hleap and I am a Registered Dietitian running a private practice in Philadelphia, PA. I see clients via in-person and virtual consultations for diabetes education and both weight and disease management. My role as a Registered Dietitian is to translate nutrition science into meaningful and realistic solutions for clients. Clients are provided with the knowledge and ability to take action and control over their health, wellness, and disease states.
